INTRODUCTION-

MY GARDEN –

If I would like to talk about my favourite place. That was my garden. Where I used to spend a lot of time. I used to feel calm and peace there. I preferred to sow different kinds of seeds in my garden.

I  planted varieties of flowers on the fence of my garden, where I could have seen different kinds of multi-coloured flowers.

I used to go to my kitchen garden every morning just after waking up. That feeling was so refreshing and I enjoyed seeing every drop of the water, falling on the petal of flowers.

 

MY ACTIVITY-

Sometimes I just became naughty and do mischievous kinds of activities like I used to look at those water drops keenly and tried to see my own pic as I found those, like a mirror.

When there was a holiday then I spent a lot of time in my garden. In which, I planted different kinds of seasonal fruits, seasonal vegetables and some medicinal plants.

I liked to think about the value and importance of these plants, that how these plants are beneficial for our health?.

Digging and watering the plants were good activities. These activities do not only take care of the plants, but it relaxes our mind too. When we dig, it becomes a good exercise for our hands and our sitting posture is good for our legs and stomach.

Watering the plants in the morning and the evening provides calmness and cooling effects to our eyes.

Whenever I would have been free, I just loved to do watering for my plants.

 

WHAT I DO –

When people came to my place, I just showed them my garden for their entertainment. Because for me, it was also a type of meditation, when I took a round of my garden for a couple of minutes.

I was also fond of purchasing new varieties of flowers. Even my garden was full of plants but I just felt them always less in my garden and tended to search for new flowers and medicinal plants for my garden.

 

INNOVATIVE   WORK I DO –

For growing plants in my kitchen garden, I used some waste things, which I would like to share. I created a pot by using an eggshell for growing the seeds. But once roots develop, it should be cracked for absorbing the water and other things.

Broken pitcher, coffee mugs, crockery bowl, broken water bottle, broken decorative pots. I have used it there for growing the plants. All had been painted with different colours and looked beautiful.

I have decorated my garden with a well-structured fountain along with attractive colourful light, which really brightened my garden at night.

People used to do appreciate my work and labour. I hope you would have taken enjoyment and felt fresh and relaxed after reading this.

Sometimes people prefer gardening design according to their space at their home like hanging plants on the balcony.  Plants grow in an embedded vase in the wall. Plants grow in the pipes, plants grow in the designer, curvy stand, which don’t take much space.

Everybody wants some space for sitting along with a swing in between the garden area so that they can spend their time comfortably in the garden area with their loved ones.

But if it is difficult to find, the above-mentioned technique is also useful for creating the garden.

 

CUTTING AND SHAPING OF THE PLANTS-

For making it attractive to my garden, it was necessary to give shaping the small tiny trees, by cutting them, I gave shape to them. The grass and small trees looked so attractive when it was to be cut from time to time.

 

GARDENING TIPS FOR THE BEGINNERS –

If someone wants to start gardening in their homes, I will suggest some common tips in essay of my favourite place article. I would not go into detail. I am just giving a guideline to think.

While building your house, search the best site of your home, where you can visit and watch many times. The location should be easily accessible.

It should not be like this, that you are only willing to go that side when you want to visit that particular area. The adverse effect of this thing can be done.

When you will be in a dark mood. So there will be a chance that You can skip going there or you forgot to go there and you all time lying on the bed to recover yourself.

And when you will feel good then your desire comes to go there. Don’t you think, if the location of your garden would be accessible?.

So it will be easy to go to the beautiful garden when don’t feel good. Consequently, your mood will be happy quickly. You don’t have to spend much time living in a dark mood. Automatically, you will be able to brace the mood.    

Moreover, it should be clear that in that area, sunlight would reach easily and it should be for a long time. Most of the herbs, vegetables and fruits need at least 6 hours of sunlight to survive.

 

NEAR TO THE WATER SOURCE –

Make sure, your garden area is also easily accessible to water sources. But you think that water scarcity and excess of water is bad for plant health.

If you are confused, whether your plants are thirsty or not, the best way is to dig 1 inch in the soil, if it is dry, so it requires water.

 

ANALYSE THE SOIL –

It is required, a well nutrient-rich and drained soil, which is, of course, the best for gardening. If your plants are devoid of nutrients, the plant will have many kinds of diseases.

You can see its morphology. I mean, the plant can look so unhealthy. You can observe its yellowish leaf, stem, rough and spotty skin, whole on the leaf, undeveloped, rotten and unattractive fruits. Over and above that, it does not look flourished plant. 

 

SOME ADDITIONAL THINGS TO CONSIDER-

Remember to choose the right plant to grow, which should be matched with your growing condition and environment. Don’t forget to learn the accurate time of sowing. It shouldn’t be too early or too late. Otherwise, it will affect its growth system.

 

ADD SOME MULCH-

Furthermore, add some mulch around your plants, which will prevent for the growing of the weeds. they also block the vapourisation and help to contain the moisture in the soil.

 

TOOLS AND FEEDING THE PLANTS-

While applying these tricks, one should pay attention to keeping the basic tools like gloves, pruning shears, loppers, garden fork, hand trowel, spade, rake, hoe, watering cane, etc. used in gardening.

Feeding the plants from time to time is essential for the good growth of the plants. It enriches the soil with nutrients. Plants intake nutrients as food.

 

They intake the water and food through the xylem and phloem. If the soil contains less nutrition, it can be supplied artificially. The organic fertilizers are manure, compost, rock phosphate,  vermicompost etc.

 

PLACE USEFUL FOR MEDITATION  –

For me, the garden was the most important place and part of my life. I could say, it was not only an entertaining place but also a meditating place for me. Whether I was happy or sad, I felt bored or lonely, the best thing I found, was to spend my time in my favourite place “ my garden”. I was never bored with this place. When I went outside for a couple of days, then after returning, I spent a lot of time there, one could imagine.

It rejuvenated me, it reenergized me, I felt calm when I spent time in this place, I felt fatigue-free physically, mentally and emotionally.

It helped me to forget toxic circumstances, situations quickly. I became positive very quickly when I spent my time here. it was a healer for me.

BEST PLACE FOR EXERCISE AND YOGA-

A garden is that place,  where you spend your morning and evening time comfortably. Where you can get fresh air. You can feel good and smell fresh. You feel calm here.

It is the best place for doing yoga, exercise and meditation. As it is a calm area, it gives calmness naturally and only going there and feeling their presence for a couple of seconds provides a meditating touch.

Walking in that area early in the morning gives strength to the mind and body. A person should be physically, mentally fit, if he wants to become healthy in this fast life.

WANT TO SHARE SOME PRECIOUS THINGS –

When I think about my school days or my childhood days, the memory of gardening comes first. Some of the parts of the memory I have discussed above. I hope you enjoyed it reading “essay of my favourite place”.

My parents had planted many seasonal vegetables on it along with different varieties of flowers. The rows of flowers grew in front of the house, while the vegetables and fruit trees grew on the parallel of the terrace.

There were a lot of fruit trees in my garden. I used to water the plants in the evening. Many fruits like orange, mango, walnuts, lemon, apricot, apple, guava and plum were there in my garden.

I really loved to eat those fruits, but besides me, people used to enjoy a lot eating those fruits. It was also good food for the birds. Different kinds of birds along with insects flew around the garden.

The cat was my favourite pass time at that time. I always used to enjoy watching his activity. He was very active and always irritated by the chirping of those birds.

He used to sit always under the tree and every time his eyes used to watch those birds in the tree and tried to catch them. Really I used to enjoy the whole scenario.
