1)GO BANANAS – नाराज हो जाना

(TO SHOW NO SIGN OF SURPRISE)

Mary did not even a bet an eyelid when I told her I was moving out.

5) WITH BATED BREATH – सांस रोक कर

(EXCITED BECAUSE YOU ARE WAITING FOR SOMETHING TO HAPPEN)

Eagerly, we waited for the announcement of the winner with bated breath.

6) FOR THE TIME BEING –फिलहाल

(JUST FOR THE PRESENT NOT FOR LONG)

The union voted not to strike for the time being.

7) BEAT ABOUT THE BUSH – घुमा फिरा कर बात करना

(TO TALK ABOUT SOMETHING FOR A LONG TIME WITHOUT MENTIONING THE MAIN POINTS) 

Quit beating around the bush and say what’s on your mind.

8) BANG/KNOCK ONE’S HEAD AGAINST A BRICK WALL– पत्थर  पर सिर पटकना
